By accessing and using ObjectJournal (“the Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

ObjectJournal is a digital platform that allows users to document, organize, and manage information about their physical possessions. The Service includes features for uploading photos, storing documents, tracking warranties, and maintaining detailed records of objects.

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate, current, and complete
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You retain ownership of all content you upload to ObjectJournal, including photos, documents, and object descriptions (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload all User Content and that such content does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

While we implement reasonable backup procedures, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important content. We are not liable for any data loss that may occur.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
